Midjet MJ4.5 Jacon Shotcrete Machine

The Jacon MJ4.5 Midjet is a compact shotcrete sprayer for underground mines and tunnels with tight access. It measures 5.4 m long, 2.1 m wide and 3.2 m high, sits on a 1.6 m wheelbase and has a 5.8 m outer turning radius. Its Maxijet triple-extension boom reaches 9.5 m vertically and 8.5 m horizontally, extending to 11 m and 10 m with the lancing option. The nozzle rotates 360° and tilts 180°, with air and chemical injection at the nozzle. The concrete pump is rated at 26 m³/h at 21 strokes per minute, with a 1,145 mm stroke and 47 bar maximum pumping pressure, and chemical is dosed from a 485 L tank by a peristaltic dosing pump. Power comes from a 94 kW CAT T3 engine. The operator can work from the FOPS/ROPS-approved cabin or by radio or umbilical remote, which controls every boom function and the chemical pump.
